Mikael Syväjärvi is an expert in advanced materials research, specializing in silicon carbide (SiC) crystal growth and semiconductor innovation since 1995. As co-founder of the SemiClose Initiative, he focuses on bridging gaps in the semiconductor industry through digital twins, AI, and global collaboration, including Sweden-India partnerships for skill development and industrial transformation.
With over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mikael has led start-ups, technology transfer initiatives, and strategic innovation programs. He actively mentors young researchers, organizes international workshops, and drives sustainable advancements in materials science and manufacturing ecosystems.
